Installation

Works in any React 19 project with Tailwind CSS v4. Next.js is recommended.

1. Set up shadcn (recommended)

This adds the theme tokens and the cn helper that some components use.

npx shadcn@latest init

2. Add the @glint-ui registry

Tell the shadcn CLI where @glint-ui components live. Add this to your components.json (one time per project):

3. Add a component

Every component page has its own command. For example:

npx shadcn@latest add @glint-ui/split-text

The file lands in components/ui and the CLI installs any npm dependencies it needs. Prefer no setup? Any component also installs straight from its URL: npx shadcn@latest add https://glint-ui-seven.vercel.app/r/split-text.json

4. Or copy it by hand

Open the Manual tab on any component page, install the listed dependencies and paste the source. Components without dependencies need nothing else.

ogl or three for WebGL backgrounds
